Podiatry
Podiatrist Mohammed from Your Foot Dr consults on Fridays: ingrown toenails, orthotics, diabetic foot checks, heel pain and children's walking assessments.

East Hills Medical Centre hosts a visiting podiatrist, Mohammed from Your Foot Dr, on Fridays at 17 Maclaurin Avenue, East Hills. Podiatrists assess and treat foot, ankle and lower limb problems. Services include treatment of ingrown toenails, corns, calluses and cracked heels, fungal nail and skin infections, warts, heel and arch pain, custom orthotics for flat feet and other alignment problems, diabetic foot assessments, and children's walking and gait assessments. Mohammed is a registered podiatrist recognised by the Australian Podiatry Association with additional surgical skills training through the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons. Patients with diabetes or another chronic condition can access Medicare rebates for podiatry through a Team Care Arrangement from their GP, and private patients can claim through health fund extras. Appointments are booked through Your Foot Dr; reception can give you the booking details or your GP can refer you directly on the day.
